Where Washington "Sauvie-B's" tend to live in the bright, tart, high-acidity zone – our 2023 Vivant’s soft aromas of white flowers, honeydew melon, white peach, and sweet basil surprise and delight white wine loving fans. The nose alone will leave you delighted, curious, and yearning for more. Take a mouthful of this beauty, and you’ll immediately taste those same fruits you picked up on the nose…white peach, honeydew melon….add in some Kiwi, maybe a little citrus. “Ahhhh”… you’ll say, as you close your eyes, tip your head back, and are magically transported to a warm sandy beach in the tropics where you won’t care what you look like in a bathing suit if you have a chilled bottle of this stunner next to you!!! Vivant is juicy and has a lovely finish. It’s softer and not as tart as you’d expect of a Sauv Blanc. But holy moly…a bottle of Adrice’s Vivant Sauv Blanc and some warm spring/summer sun…and you won’t care how much sand falls out of your bikini!
Our 2023 Vivant Sauv Blanc is a perfect “by itself” glass of wine. But if you must have a food pairing…consider Parmesan-crusted marinara chicken breasts, baked Brie with orange marmalade with crackers, or shrimp scampi.
